Hello and welcome to Semisolid Sanity. I am Katherine and this is my journey.

I started this blog in 2014 when I was in a treatment center in Alabama. The purpose of these posts was to keep my family informed about how I was doing. Since then, the blog has grown both in content and in following.

Here you will find my musings on mental health and college life. The exact diagnoses are not important, but you can read more about them in my posts.

Writing and photography are my passions. I shoot 35mm film and digital. I have been published in a few magazines and have editing experience. I am currently in college pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in English.
